Waste not, want not

I ordered a shaver on the internet. It arrived promptly in a large cardboard box. Bearing in mind the shaver was small and already heavily packaged, the supplier still thought it necessary to put it in another, much larger box, and fill the empty space, (there was quite a lot of that) with lots of little white polysterene tubes.

We all know packaging is excessive and environmentally damaging, but the problem is, what to do with it?! Just chuck it away?

In the end I discovered they stick together rather well and created this. Maybe I should send it to the supplier...
